Twilight

What a wonderful evening. My hubby took me out on our very own twilight outing! I got off at work at about quarter to 6 on opening night of Twilight. Both of us read the book and was more then excited to see the movie. Especially me..I am more of a picture book then a book with no pictures! Ronney and I went to our favorite restaurant.."RED LOBSTER" and spent more then we should have but the food there is SOOOO GOOD that we feel its worth every penny! Ronney got steak and lobster, and I got the Lobster, scallops and shrimp platter. Oh man....So much food....but soo good!! Anywho...Our waiter recognized us from previous visits there and treated us with his utmost care! He was wonferful! Thanks Regino! After such a perfect dinner..we headed to the theater to wait for 2 hours. We thought ther would be a line...so we went early! Getting to the theater..the parking lot was packed tight!!! But....someone must like us..cause we got a spot right in front! Talk about Luck!!We got there just in time. The line had started but we were only about 15 people behind. People just crowded in right after us!! good timing!! When they started letting people in....our group went first! Ronney and I got PERFECT seats!!! Perfect view, perfect sound...perfect everything!!! The Movie was awesome! One of the best ones Ive seen!!! I cant wait for the 2nd one to come out. Im right in the middle of the 2nd book..ronney keeps encourging me to read...and I am. Remember, I do better with pictures, he is better with no pictures! Boooo! GO SEE IT!! You need to!!

Kung Fu Panda!

The other night my cousin Piko and his cute family came over, along with my mom and sister! It was family night so we had dinner and watched KUNG FU PANDA! my mom and Hana came a little earlier..so my mom had some grandma time with our puppies. Aulii loves to sit on grandma and lick her face! I scares me sometime, because my mom gets watery eyes and sneezes if she gets too much of aulii and lohe... but mom cant help to love the dogs back! Piko and Kanoe came at about 6:30 and we popped the movie in! I had never seen the movie before, but Nalu
, Bubba and Keiko sure seen it!! Probably about a million times! Nalu and Bubba could reciet the movie...WORD FOR WORD!! Piko and Kanoe kept telling the boys to stop ruining it for us that had never seen it! It was okay though....I tought it was so funny that they knew that movie so well. Mom got to hold baby Lynea (Piko and Kanoe's newest addition) for the whole movie. My mom is kind of a baby hog! Keiko just kinda hung out and ate everyone bread and drinking EVERYBODYs water bottles (gross...backwash!) but she is so dang cute....how can you be mad at her! Anyways.....The movie was fun and having family over is always a good time! Piko and kanoes kids are hilarious...and kanoe makes the BEST brownies ever! She made it with the Garadellie (i dont know how fo spell em) Chocolate and nuts! Oh my gosh....Soooo ONO! (So good) Piko was the 1st one to dig into it! I caught him sneaking the 1st piece. Easy Piko..Easy on the brownies Bra!!! To piko and kanoe...Thanks for coming over. Was good fun!!!

Trip to Smithfield

On December 9...it will be 2 years since we buried my dad. Today was the first time my mom felt well enough to go take a ride out to smithfield and visit my dad's grave site. My brother, his family, mahana, mom and us all went. Ronney and I felt that it was such a nice day that we'd take our chirstmas pictures. On our way out we stopped at Walmart to pick up some lunch. Beacuse my moms legs are still sore she rode the motorized wheelchairs. Mahana and I dont like taking it back into the store...But Koa voluntered really quickly! He and my brother wanted to drive it back. Koa beat kalani to it!

We miss my dad very much. When we go to Smithfield, we always have cleaning stuff to clean the grave. My dad was very proud of his gravestone so we always make sure it looks nice. We brushed it down with a little broom and sprayed it down with cleaner and gave it a good wipping down. All while taking pictures and having some fun.

Aunty Hea and Aunty Hana Love to hang out with all the kids. They are growing so fast.

Ronney and I wanted to take the puppies with us...but my mom has allergies, so we didnt take them. We did take alot of pictures we just Ron and I. I like a few of them...Mahana took the pictures for us, and as a first time photographer..she did great. I can always count on my sis to help me. After coming home.. we were able to still catch some sunlight and took a few with the pups. They are hard to keep still when there are other dogs barking for their attention. Aunty Hana did her best. We were pretty tired from the long drive but still wanted to squeeze in some "Family Picture" time.Check out the slide show at the bottom of our page!

YEY! FIRST BLOG!

okay....here it goes! Since Im new at this whole thing...maybe I will just give a run down of my life til this point.....

I was born in Hawaii, I grew up in Kaneohe...the windward side! I belong to a family of 5 kids, my twin sister and I being the youngest. Over the past 27 years Ive lived in kaneohe, hawaii...salt lake city, utah...south salt lake city, utah...layton, utah and now a currently reside in clearfield utah. I met the most best of friends in High school...."my girls" i like to call them. Moving to Salt lake I also met some of the most awesome friends too! Although times have changed and keeping in touch with friends is hard...somehow...we keep in touch just enough to know that each of us are still alive. I met my hubby in salt lake, Ronney and I got married in aug of 2003. My parents and my brothers and my sister all moved here during the past 10 years, I was the second, following my oldest brother, kalani. After getting married my hubby and I moved from a few places just to find the home we have now. On dec 9 of 2006 my daddy passed away from a massive heart atack. He was my hero...my heart is still so broken from his passing, day by day it gets a little more easier to face his death, but knowing that he is building castles on the other side and watching on all of us makes me happy. About 4 months after the passing of my dear daddy, some smiles came to my face when were giving a brand new puppy. Our little basset hound is our KOLOHE...hawaiian for naughty! He definalty lives up to the name. He love the trash can....I dont know why..but he does! He loves to cuddle with mommy on the couch and loves to sleep at her feet in bed...when daddy lets him. He is almost 2 years old. December is his birthday. About a year ago....our second puppy came along, she is our chihuahua mix. Her name is AULII..which means beautiful in hawaiian. And boy does she know it! She is always wanting you to look at her and pet her and spoil her. She gets right in your face and gives all kinds of kisses! She loves to be the first one at everything...first one to be pet in the morning, first one to eat, first one to get a treat and first one to be at the door when the doorbell rings. Kolohe is just a cruzier and just looks at Aulii like shes insane. And she is.....she chases her tail like there is no tomorrow! anywho....for now this is my family. Until we hear news of pitter patter of little feet...our family is complete.

Well....lets give it a try

Well.... a few friends of mine have this blogger thing, and I thought I'd give it a try! I need some tweeking done on mine....so if you know of any place where I can get some cool layouts or know of any codes to pictures up and stuff let me know. I need help.....Kanoe or mandy, I know you know how.....let me in on the secrets!
